Testimonials

I have taken 6 trips with Fabrizio and Astro Cycling -3 in Tuscany, Umbria, Sicily, The Lakes Region and soon in Mallorca. His knowledge of cycling, attention to hospitality and details, and accommodating the varied requirements of his guests is without parallel. He has exceptional knowledge of the local culture, food, and is a certified sommelier. Whether you are planning a week long trip or just taking advantage of a local e-bike day tour with family or friends I would recommend Astro cycling and their experience.

A MUST DO. The whole experience was truly unforgettable. From building the customized itinerary that suited our group of 4 couples, to the immersive feel of experiencing local Tuscan culture…I can’t recommend Astro enough!! Everything was top quality but relaxed and approachable.

They were adaptable when changes needed to be made, and definitely made sure each person felt well taken care of. This was my first cycling trip in Italy and I can’t wait to book another with Astro to explore a different region. I thought it would be a really hard challenge to do all of the hills but the bikes and guidance were amazing. And the VIEWS. Takes your mind off of the quads!
We went in mid September which felt like the perfect time of year. Thank you for everything Fabrizio and your amazing team!

I am an experienced road cyclist. I searched long and hard for a guide who would provide me and my family a private tour around the Lucca hills, Villa Reale and wineries. I was fortunate to find Astrocycling. Fabrizio is a retired, professional cyclist. Together, with his partner Marco, they arranged all of the details of our tour–they met us at our hotel with four brand new ebikes, then with Fabrizio guiding us by bike while Marco followed in the sag van, we went for a ride thru the beautiful countryside before arriving at Villa Reale where Marco guided us on a tour. Finally, we rode to an incredible, family-owned winery where we had a six course lunch paired with great wines and received a vineyard tour from the owner/winemaker. All before Marco drove us back to our hotel. Even my non-biking wife said it was her favorite experience of our trip. I’m hoping to go back with my cycling buddies for a proper road bike tour with Fabrizio.

I’ve been on many bike trips and ridden with many guides. By far, Fabri is the best! I had two incredible days on the bike with Fabri around Lucca and Pisa. He lead us down local roads with no traffic to amazing climbs with fabulous views. Fabri is more than just a guide. He was great fun to be with as we had good conversations and lots of laughs while riding through the countryside. I highly recommend Astro Cycling for your next cycling adventure.

Fabrizio was one of the best tour guides I’ve had in two years of traveling the world, he is knowledgeable about cycling, wines, history and made this tour so amazing, I will be back to Montecatini and I will immediately book another tour with Fabricio. I’m hoping he can create a personal tour for two days of wine, tasting cheese, olive oil, and even more experiences. It was fantastic!
